1. What is the idea behind the Crimsonata Reseller Network?
Simply put, it exists so you can make good money by introducing people to great new software, and it helps our recently established user base grow. We feel our software uniquely solves some real problems that most Internet users have, and they just need to know it's out there!

2. What is special or different about this Reseller Network?
In a nutshell, there are two major benefits that most other Internet Reseller programs don't have. First, we use a Bonus Code that is unique to each Reseller account, which gives you the ability to use non-web advertising mediums and also gains you a higher percentage of signups if you do use web based mediums. And second, we give you the ability to make commissions from other people you refer to our Reseller Network, meaning that after you introduce the right people, you can collect checks for years to come without doing any additional promotion.

3. Do you have other referral programs?
Yes, we have a 'Spread the Word' program for Just1Key that will give you Premium Just1Key service for free, just by telling others about our software, and you don't need to sign up for anything to get started. The 'Spread the Word' Program is described on the Just1Key.com website, and works in conjunction with our Reseller Network.

4. Who can become a member of the Reseller Network?
Just about anyone! We ask that you be 18 years of age or older (for legal reasons only), and follow ethical marketing practices and the laws of your region, plus the rules of our Terms of Service. Each user should have only one account (see question #10).

5. How can I track how much I've made?
In the future we will be implementing a secure online system in which you can completely track, manage, and update your Reseller Account. In the meantime, if you have any questions about your account, just email us at resellers@crimsonata.com and we'll get back to you right away.

6. Do I get to know exactly who I have referred?
Usually, yes. There is a 'Tell them it was me' checkbox in the signup web form for both Premium account purchases and new Reseller signups. If this box is left checked (the default), we'll give you the name and email address of whom you referred. If not, we'll only be able to tell you that someone entered your Reseller Codename and when, but we won't be able to tell you who they are ; we respect all our users confidentiality and privacy wishes.

7. Explain how the 'cookie' works.
After you sign up to the Reseller Network, you can put a graphical ad 'link' on your webpage. When users click on this graphic, it takes them to the associated product webpage to tell them about it, and it also adds a 'cookie' into the users web browser. What this cookie does is this: if within the next 90 days that user comes back to our site using their browser and purchases a Premium Account (or signs up for the Reseller Network), your Reseller Codename will appear in the 'referred by' entry type field on our web signup form automatically. Each time the 'cookie' is created (which only happens by clicking on a Reseller link), it replaces any existing one and resets the expiration date to 90 days from then.

8. How do I get paid?
Currently, our only method of distributing funds is via bank cheque, mailed to the address you gave us when you signed up. We will have additional reimbursement methods in the near future, including bank wire transfer, PayPal, and other convenient means.

9. When do I get paid?
We collect your commissions over a quarterly basis, and within 30 days of the end of each quarter distribute your funds to you. We may offer distributions more often in the future (such as monthly). At the moment we only send out cheque's to members with a balance of US $19 or more. Any unpaid amounts will be held ('rolled over') into the next quarter, until either paid or until the account is closed.

10. Can I have more than one Reseller Account?
No, you are only allowed one Crimsonata Reseller account, unless special circumstances exist, in which case just email us. If you are involved in a business that also wants to open a reseller account and you personally already have one, the basic rule is that it's OK as long as you own less than 5% of that business (or derive less than 5% of its revenue) -- if not, please email us first, and we recommend you read carefully the Terms of Agreement.

11. Can I refer my family or the business I work for?
Yes. You can refer anyone other than yourself for Direct Referral commissions or Business Referral commissions. It is also OK to implement the "Referring new Resellers" element of our system as long as you are not financially beneficial of anyone who does so - please see the previous question and our Terms of Agreement for more detail.

12. Can I refer myself?
No, it is against the rules to use your Referral Codename to refer yourself. Since the whole basic idea of the program is to refer new people, it should be an easy rule to remember.

13. What if someone else and I both try to refer a new user or business?
Only one reseller can make a commission per sale. Whenever an individual or business signs up for new Premium service on one of our products, it's solely up to them to tell us exactly who they were referred by. With individual users, it's simple, since the user gets a free month with a Bonus Code that they can enter from your promotional material (or is entered automatically with the most recent web 'cookie' if they came via a graphic link). With businesses purchasing site-licenses of 10 users or more, we don't yet have a standardized signup form (and there's usually direct communication involved), so make sure that they remember it's you that referred them when we ask!

14. How is the 'Referring New Resellers' commission percentage determined?
If you are a paying premium user at any time during the quarter, your commission that quarter will be 20% on Direct Referral amounts made by other Resellers that you referred. Otherwise it's 10%. We like to give our dedicated Premium users the special treatment they deserve!

15. Can I use email to promote for my Reseller account?
Certainly, as long as it's not Spam. You can tell your friends, colleagues, and use mailing lists that are truly 'opt-in' and applicable to promoting software of this nature. But please do not send out unsolicited bulk email, as we'll terminate your account if you do -- if anyone did send out a bunch of spam emails, we would certainly hear about it, and close the account immediately.
